The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports, and Tourism recommends that the Parliament adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re improving several provisions of youth policy and establishing youth centres)

The bill (Reg. No. 1248) suggests establishing youth centres in cities, villages, and townships, determining additional authorities on their financial insurance, establishing additional authorities of social services centres for families, children and the youth, and specifying authorities of central executive body in the sphere of youth policy.

The Committee members claimed adoption of the bill will allow improving cooperation between the youth and the state, activating public youth initiatives and strengthening youth protection.
